Zedd is truly doing it all. Winning Grammys, collaborating with superstars and selling out shows across the globe. Speaking of planets spinning around the universe at 1000 mph, the producer has also composed an original song for the mini-series One Strange Rock.
One Strange Rock, a new 10 part mini-series from Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky, and National Geographic, explores the wonders and uniqueness of our extraordinary planet Earth. Will Smith hosts the docu-series, and with the help of eight astronaut’s unique perspectives, the show explores monumental events in our planet’s history.
“What I find really inspirational about One Strange Rock is that it’s much more visually stimulating and it keeps you engaged with the topic, and it was kind of my mission to match that in the audio world” remarks Zedd when talking about how he created the hauntingly beautiful song. The video is equally as mesmerizing as the song is, with shots of Zedd playing the piano, and aerial footage of earth’s landscapes.
“Shooting the video for One Strange Rock was such an insane experience. The National Geographic team had projected videos onto the cave walls that made me feel like I was in another world” -Zedd.
Catch the video below, and tune in to the National Geographic channel, Mondays at 10.9c for One Strange Rock.
