e bit over 5 weeks, the beautiful landmarks of De Schorre, in Belgium, will welcome once again people from all over the world and host the most anticipated weekend of the year: Tomorrowland. For this edition, the theme ‘The Story of Planaxis‘ has been kept almost a secret up until today. Now, a 2-minute video has been posted on the official website. You can watch the video below.
For what we can see, there’s a painting of a lighthouse by the sea on the wall that slowly starts to drip some water. If we look a little closer, we get to see that the ocean starts to move… a sailor on a boat looks for some coordinates on a map, just to discover that he’s exactly where he’s supposed to be. Under these crystal-clear waters lies a treasure that is barely known to human kind, a magical world full of wonders and beauty. Are YOU ready for a new chapter in the history of Tomorrowland?
The life under the sea seems to be this years’ concept, and we are sure that Tomorrowland will definitely exceed our expectations in regards to stage production. Fans are already starting to receive their treasure cases and the dream starts to become a reality. With an impressive lineup that features the names of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Carl Cox, Solomun and pretty much every DJ you could ever hope for, The Story of Planaxis will be a weekend to let yourself go and embrace your love for music and everyone around you. Never forget: Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever.
eamfields is once again setting the bar way high for production value. Just over a month ago, they announced the first of its kind SILO Stage, a 360 degree arena with the latest technology in sound and light production. Today, another surprise has came along and it looks totally epic, to say the least: Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for Generator.
Some might say that we’re talking about the Space Race here, but we’re not. Generator is Creamfields’ latest concept, an incredible megastructure to turn your festival experience into a futuristic adventure. Entirely made of scaffold and shipping containers, the industrial design of Generator allows a multi-tiered stadium and multiple viewing galleries, so everyone will be able to have a unique and unforgettable journey from every corner of the stage.
As for the visuals, Creamfields is also going beyond expectations:
“Generator will provide an all-round spectacle that will include an enormous all-encompassing and multi-dimensional wall of LED screens at the stage end, not to mention an abundance of lights, lasers, and pyro that will spanthe length and bredth of the structure. Once again, the bar has been raised, with Generator proving that when it comes to pushing the limits of what is possible, Creamfields remains way ahead of the curve.”
With these brand new stages, going to Creamfields will not be simply attending to a music festival, it will be more like taking a trip to the future. For its 21st edition, the lineup has every artist you could ever hope for: Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Axwell & Ingrosso, Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, just to name a few.
Creamfields is happening from August 23rd to August 26th at Daresbury, Cheshire, U.K. Limited tickets are still available on their website. You can also enter on their Facebook contest to win a Gold 4 day Camping for five. Good luck and see you at Creamfields!
